Today we drove across the bridge to Sausalito. We followed highway 1 to Muir Woods and then took the 101 north to Sonoma and Napa Valleys. We drove across highway 12 and then back down Interstate 80 to Berkley and finally across the Oakland Bay Bridge to San Francisco. Kristen was in shopping heaven in Sausalito and I was in heaven to find the small Napa County airport with many, many corporate jets! It was great to have the freedom of driving as we've been dependent on busses and walking over the past five days. Tomorrow we head south on highway 1 thru half moon bay to Monterey. We will head straight to the airport tomorrow evening as we have a late flight. Enjoy the pics

Saturday's events included a walk to the Golden Gate Bridge, a visit to the Japanese Tea Gardens and a Mass at Mission Dolores. We learned to navigate the Muni. transportation system. I think we've walked at least six miles a day and the hills are making our legs sore. Last night we ate dinner at Aliotos with a sunset view of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge.
